Merry Axe-Mas

Celebrate the season with a fun target challenge that keeps players entertained. Smash ornaments, stockings, stars, and other holiday-themed targets to score points. Larger targets are easier to hit but yield fewer points, whereas landing precise shots on smaller, trickier targets earns you more points.
It’s a fantastic game for bringing holiday fun and friendly competition to every visit!
Bottle Axe

In Bottle Axe, your goal is to find the perfect spot to hit to maximize your score. Hit colors that are grouped, and the more that explodes, the more points you get!
Concentration

Get ready for a fun axe throwing game that everyone can enjoy! Choose from four exciting themes: Ocean, Monsters, Planes, or Fruit. You can also decide if you want to play with an extra throw when you make a match. Pick Easy mode for a more relaxed game with special cards that can match any picture, or choose Hard mode for a bigger challenge. When a picture is shown, aim your axe at the matching token to score a point.
Keep an eye out for the special “Steal” token, which lets you take a point from the player in the lead. Keep scoring points until one player gets too far ahead to be caught. It’s a fun game of skill, luck, and friendly competition for everyone!
Word Whack
- Players: Up to 6
They take turns throwing axes at the letters they believe are part of the hidden phrase. A successful hit fills in the corresponding blanks in the phrase. Players can choose to either throw axes at more letters or solve the phrase.
To solve the puzzle, missing letters are highlighted one by one, and players use clicks, touch, or keyboard input to fill them in. A correct answer wins the round, while an incorrect one passes the turn to the next player. “Word Whack” offers an exciting word-finding experience that challenges both skill and strategy, delivering thrills while encouraging players to improve their accuracy and vocabulary.

The first axe was carved from a piece of hard stone; initially, it was held in the hand and likely used for various tasks. Later, someone learned to attach the stone to a wooden handle—either by binding it with rope or by inserting it into a hole—thereby gaining the ability to strike with greater force and reach.
The Axe has been one of humanity’s oldest and simplest tools. However, using an axe for recreation is a new and rapidly emerging sport. It is believed to have originated just 15 years ago in a Toronto backyard as a way to relieve boredom.
From friendly backyard competitions to dedicated throwing venues, axe throwing has grown into a thrilling sport enjoyed around the world. Combining precision, strategy, and excitement, every throw offers a rewarding challenge for players of all experience levels.
There are axe-throwing venues across the globe, with over 6,000 league members. On any given night, people are throwing axes in more than 240 cities across 19 countries. There is even a ‘National Axe Throwing Federation’ (NATF), established in 2016 with the aim of creating standardized rules for the sport worldwide. So, it is fair to say that the answer to the question—”Axe-throwing? Is that even a sport?”—is ‘yes’.
While axe-throwing at Champs is pretty iconic, the World Axe Throwing League was established to connect the international locations. You can enjoy axe-throwing in Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, several European countries (such as Italy, Spain, and Germany), Indonesia, Peru, and even Kazakhstan.
How it works?
A great axe throwing experience is about more than just tossing an axe at a target. The quality of the equipment, the atmosphere, the game options, and the overall setup all play a big role in making every throw exciting.
Our specially designed interactive targets are built to deliver a more enjoyable and engaging experience than traditional wooden boards. Designed for better axe sticking, improved safety, and long-lasting performance, they make every game more fun. With a variety of interactive games to choose from, every visit brings a new challenge, whether you’re competing with friends, family, or coworkers.
Hold the axe firmly with your dominant hand, leaving about an inch of the handle below your grip. Keep the blade facing straight ahead so it spins evenly and flies toward the target.
Place your other hand just above your dominant hand to help guide the throw and keep the axe steady.
Raise the axe over your head with both hands. Lean back slightly to build momentum, similar to making an overhead throw in sports.
Step forward with your non-dominant foot as you swing the axe forward. Release it at about head height with your arms fully extended, aiming for a smooth and controlled throw.
You need to throw the axe with considerable force to ensure it hits the target. It might feel awkward at first, but it just takes a little practice!
Once you’ve mastered the basic throw, you can try one-handed throws, underhand throws, using a larger axe, and experimenting with different grips (though you might only be able to practice these at home—keeping the space safe for everyone is a priority at ‘Forged’; ask your host for more details). You can even throw two axes at once!
How Safe is Axe Throwing?
Axe throwing may seem intense at first, but it’s a carefully managed activity designed with safety as the top priority. Every game is played in controlled lanes with clear rules, quality equipment, and trained staff to guide participants. With the right safety measures in place, players of all experience levels can enjoy the excitement of axe throwing in a secure, fun, and welcoming environment.

- Require to be minimum 16 years and above.
- Only One person throws in a lane at a time, and the lanes are fenced in to prevent axes from bouncing into other alleys.
- Only One Axe per lane
- Person walking out of the lane never hands out Axe to next person in hand, rather they leave the Axe in wooden pocket and leave the lane.
- Each Lane is fully enclosed on all sides and there is absolutely no chance of stray Axes.
- All players must wear closed-toed shoes.
